School History
Keble School was established in 1929. It started with only 9 pupils in a small hall, however later moved into a bigger building. In 1939, its buildings were needed to help the war effort, and the school temporarily shared Avondale Hall in Hoppers Road with Palmers Green High School. In recent years the Junior School building, which can be viewed from Wades Hill, has been added to increase the level of accommodation and there are plans to redevelop the Art Block.
Keble has a house system with points for sport, drama, music and classroom effort. There are three houses, named after Arthurian knights: Bedivere, Gareth and Geraint these are associated with the colours red, blue, and green.
The school colours are black and yellow, and the motto, which is incorporated in the school badge, is 'Puritas Probitas Veritas', which is Latin and means 'Purity Honesty Truth'.
