Entry at Reception
After visiting the school or receiving the information pack, the initial step is to register your son by completing the registration form and sending in the registration fee of £50. You will need to register your son for the academic year in which his fifth birthday falls. Nearer the time of entry, we will contact you to come in for a tour of the school with the Headmaster. This is also an opportunity for you to discuss any specific matters relevant to your son. Whilst you are taking the tour, your son will join a Reception class where he will be observed by the adults teaching the group.
Shortly after this visit the headmaster will write to advise whether your application for a place has been successful. If your son is offered a place at the school the offer letter will include an acceptance form and copy of the Standard Terms and Conditions. Your son’s place at the School will be confirmed on receipt of the signed acceptance form and deposit of £1000.00 which will be refunded to the parents’ fee account at the end of the pupil’s final term at school.
Later in the year we will request a report from his nursery school. We will also invite you to come in one evening during the Summer Term to talk you through the routines and procedures. You also visit on one afternoon with your son, where he gets to meet his future classmates and you meet fellow parents for the first time.
