Entry into other years
We do have occasional places at other years. In particular for entry into Year 7, where parents may have opted for primary education in the maintained sector and are now looking to the independent sector for the secondary phase.
At whichever stage you are interested the procedure is the same. You should obtain an information pack and the register for the year group you desire. We will contact you to arrange for a day when your son can spend some time with us. This can be a half or whole day where he will join a class for their lessons. It is normal for you to have a tour of the school with the Headmaster on the day you bring him for the visit. We ask you, at this stage, to bring a copy of his birth certificate and also his most recent school report. We may also contact the school to gain further information.
Shortly after this visit the headmaster will write to advise whether your application for a place has been successful. If your son is offered a place at the school the offer letter will include an acceptance form and copy of the Standard Terms and Conditions. Your son’s place at the School will be confirmed on receipt of the signed acceptance form and deposit of £1000.00 which will be refunded to the parents’ fee account at the end of the pupil’s final term at school.
