Pastoral Care

Keble has an excellent reputation for creating a school environment in which the boys feel happy safe, and can be themselves. The key figure in pastoral care of the individual is the Form Teacher who watches over academic, personal and social development and is the first point of contact for parents.

Junior boys are encouraged to be aware of the needs of others through the use of the Friendship Bench and the weekly allocation of Friendly Bee status, where boys look out for fellow classmates in need of company or comfort.

Relationships with older boys are fostered through the House System, School Council and Big Brother programme where senior boys are ‘buddied’ with junior boys and share regular breaktimes together.
