Curriculum

Boys joining Keble in Reception have a unique start to their statutory education.  As well as being part of a larger school, and all the opportunities that allows, the Reception year is part of Enfield’s Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership. This means we were up to speed with recent changes to legislation for the Foundation Stage and met the challenge of our recent inspection confidently.

In the EYFS Inspection report our Reception year was commended us for our ‘happy, safe, caring environment in which boys settle into full-time education, learn and mature, and where individual needs are met…’.  The report also stated that our Early Years Foundation Stage is welcoming and nurturing; and that the small classes enable the uniqueness of each boy to be recognized and his individual needs are identified and addressed.
