Homework

This year we are going to capitalise on all the work put into using Google classroom to deliver work to the boys during lockdown.

We will NOT, therefore, be continuing to use smartparents to deliver homework and will be instead be using Google classroom to deliver homework to our pupils. Please note Reception and Y1 parents will continue to use Seesaw. Smart parents will no longer be available.

Teachers can continue to use Google classroom to post their digital resources for pupils during lessons and post homework for the evenings. Y2 -Y8 pupils will access their homework via the Google classroom app or Google drive. All logins for boys from Y3-8 will remain the same. Y2 pupils will receive details of their son’s logins.

Parents can access their child’s teachers’ Google Classroom in one of the following ways:

1. Ask the student to login and launch the Google Classroom App. Please note that any activity in Google Classroom is documented under the student’s login and it would be inappropriate for a parent to communicate with the teacher or other students in Google Classroom. Parents should use their personal email to digitally communicate with the teacher.
2. From any computer with internet access, click this link https://classroom.google.com and have the student login with their login details and password. Please note that any activity in Google Classroom is documented under the student’s login and it would be inappropriate for a parent to communicate with the teacher or other students in Google Classroom. Parents should use their personal email to digitally communicate with the teacher.
